One of the most difficult parts of my Job is getting reviews. Most of the time people are quick to give negative reviews. Whenever they are unsatisfied with a service the first thing that pops in someone’s head is to speak to a manager/owner, or to write a negative review online. As we all know, online reviews can make or break a business. My question is….Why do people not have that same enthusiasm about posting positive reviews when they receive great service? I’ve had so many people tell me how great their experience was with my service and how much fun it was, and I am so happy and grateful for the wonderful compliments and feedback and it is appreciated more than words can express. However, not getting those positive compliments and feedback posted online can also hurt the business. Especially in my type of business, I have bride & grooms as well as business owners looking at my business through online services but without feedback from previous clients, it would be difficult for a future client to get any idea of my performance through my services.
There are many different types of strategies for getting online reviews and I have tried them all, but it seems that people are either too busy or just forget. I am not one to hassle anyone for a review, but it is a shame because reviews do make a BIG difference for any type of business. So with this said, anytime you have a great experience with any business don’t forget to leave them a review or feedback about their services. This is the most helpful thing you could do to show your appreciation.
